Just Say Know provides a forum for voters nationwide in the USA to promote legislation toward ending drug prohibition and the many harms this failed policy causes.

We provide easy access to drug policy information and provide suggestions on how you can take actions that fit your personal lifestyle and still make a measurable difference toward positive drug policy reform.

We believe adults should not be treated like criminals for responsible drug use. We recognize that a small number of people are not able to control themselves and become addicts. This is a fact that has not been altered in ANY positive way by drug prohibition. In 1914 when the first drug prohibition law was passed in the USA, 1.3 percent of the population was addicted to drugs. After over 90 years of prohibition and over a trillion tax dollars spent on prohibition efforts, 1.3 percent of the population is still addicted to drugs. Drug addiction should be addressed as a health issue not a crime. In the USA (land of the free) we’re arresting close to two million, non-violent people a year on drug charges and causing death, disease and crime with our drug prohibition policy.

We urge you to get on our mailing list so we can keep you informed about actions you can take to improve drug policy in the USA. Participate whenever and to whatever degree you feel comfortable but don’t expect anything positive to happen unless we all pull together. Studies have been conducted through surveys of legislators that clearly indicate the most effective ways "we the people" can influence our law makers to act in our favor. In order of effectiveness; 1. A personal visit to your representative's office. 2. A personal letter to your representative. 3. A phone call to your representative. 4. An email to your representative.

There is important legislation that is likely to be voted on soon. We know not everyone can take all the actions listed in the paragraph above but just about everyone can take a couple of minutes to make a phone call or send a letter or email to your representative.
